Our client are looking for safe and patient drivers who get on well with customers and colleagues.

Must have:

- A valid PCV driving licence
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The following reflects typical duties and is not intended to be a comprehensive description of all tasks:

- Operate local bus services, express, school & contract work in accordance with route and time schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers at all times, and deal with customer enquiries.
- Communicate with passengers in a clear, concise and polite manner.
- Pick up and set down passengers at bus stops with due care for their safety as they board and alight the bus.
- Be presentable and in full uniform at all times when driving a bus.
- Deliver safe driving at all times and operate within legal requirements and driving regulations.
- Ensure the cleanliness of vehicles is maintained at a high standard and meets customer expectations.
- Take fares, issue tickets and check validity of travel cards, pre-purchased tickets and passes.
- Any other duty as required by the Bus Inspector/Service Delivery Manager.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Essex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Driving: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- PCV licence (required)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
