**JOB DESCRIPTION - Groundskeeper**

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Groundskeeper to join the Maintenance team with responsibility for the general upkeep of the external grounds of the park and the grounds of the Coed Haroldston Holiday Cottages.

Broad Haven Holiday Park is a large family run Holiday Park set in the picturesque village of Broad Haven with over 170 Static Caravan Pitches and several Holiday Cottages.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the grounds and all common areas.
- Providing an efficient strimming, grass cutting and hedge cutting service around the park
- Laying paths and patios as required around caravans.
- Repairs and maintenance as required around the grounds of the park.
- Assist in the construction of outdoor structures, features and general landscaping projects as required.
- Grounds keeping of the Coed Haroldston holiday cottages as well as supporting housekeeping staff on changeover days.
- Provide support to the maintenance team with siting and de-siting of Caravans as required.
- Ensure that all groundskeeping equipment is properly maintained and stored.

**Essential Skills**
- Experience of using Ride on mowers/Strimmers and groundskeeping equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for gardening and landscaping.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices
- Excellent eye for detail with an enthusiasm for making outdoor spaces attractive.
- Ability to work in an environment where being pro-active and maintaining a high level of productivity is important.
- Ability to manage the workload independently prioritising your jobs as required.
- Health & Safety awareness
- Fit and Healthy - ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditons
- Full UK Driving Licence

**Renumeration**

Dependent on experience + Pension + Workwear provided + Bonus scheme

**Salary**: £22,080.00-£24,000.00 per year
