We work with a large number of local authority clients within North, West and East London.

This is a full time, permanent role based over a **minimum of 45 hours per week** across 5 days. Overtime is available in the form of additional days working if wanted.

**General responsibilities of this role include**:

- Help and support the public with their safety and well-being on behalf of the Local Authority.
- Gather information and work with others to take action against offenders.
- Find and stop offenders and take necessary action to enforce the law.
- Handle people involved in crimes promptly and efficiently, following the rules.
- Patrol public areas to prevent problems, like anti-social behavior and crime.
- Respond to public and police reports, prioritising smaller issues that affect people's daily lives.
- Work together with local service providers, like the police and community safety teams.
- Build trust with the public by attending meetings and engaging with the community to reduce fear of crime.
- Must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection License.
- Must have an automatic or full valid UK driver's license and own transportation due to different work locations.
- Willing to work during non-standard hours, typically between 11:30 am and 3:00 am, depending on the shift.
- Physically fit to patrol on foot and work from a vehicle throughout the shift. Must be capable of handling confrontational, volatile, and physical incidents as needed.
- Compassionate and motivated to support and assist the public.
- Maintain excellent personal presentation.
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for service delivery and improvement.

All interviews are held face to face and you must be able to attend our head office which is located in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.25 per hour
