We are recruiting for pensioned Driver - Steward to work with us. We have football games happening regularly Saturday and sometimes and Tuesdays. We need responsible person with Full UK Driving License how will be happy to take our company minivan and collect people for Peterborough and drive to Cambridge.

A few of the areas Steward could find themselves working in is search areas, entry/exit gates, within response teams, stadium areas (dressing rooms/green rooms) and stadium access points. Working within a team environment, all Security Operatives must be able to adapt to the demands of a football game.

Overview:

- Salary: £13.50 per hour
- Job Type: Part - time position
- Location: Peterborough - Cambridge

Main Duties of Steward
- Monitor and control event entrances.
- Conduct regular searches of bags, etc. carried by visitors and report discrepancies or violations immediately.
- Monitoring and reporting any problems connected with safety of events visitors.
- Patrol the event area on a regular basis ensuring fire walks take place and are recorded.
- Ensure safe passage of people taking part of the organisation of the even.
- Support evacuation of the event area during fire alarm situations
- Monitor suspicious packages and be aware of bomb and terror threat procedures.
- Provide secure storage for guest oversized items.
- Ensure only event organises has access to limited zones.
- Investigate and report all allegations of theft, criminal damage, and other incidents.
- Manage undesirable behavior in a professional manner, intervening and defusing potential altercations.
- Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations.

Qualifications:

- Full UK Driving License
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
