Duration: 6 Months
Introduction
Our client are a Dublin based EASA and UK CAA approved Maintenance Repair Organisation with approval to provide Line & Base Maintenance services on Boeing 737 NG/Max, 777 and 787 aircraft.
The Licensed Aircraft Engineer will have responsibility for the supervision of Mechanics and inspection and certification of scheduled maintenance tasks, defect rectification, Structural modifications, Structural repairs and functional tests. They will supportthe Lead Engineer with the day to day running of a Structural Modification Zone, allocating tasks to ensure the daily workload is completed and the production plan remains on schedule.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise a team of Mechanics performing Base Maintenance and Structural modifications on customer aircraft.
- Inspection and certification of Structural Modifications/Repairs, scheduled maintenance tasks, defect rectification and functional tests.
- Complete all assigned work in a timely manner to optimize aircraft downtime.
- Ensure aircraft technical log book, maintenance documentation, work packages and zonal handovers are completed accurately and within prescribed timescales.
- Ensure compliance with company, regulatory and health and safety requirements.
- Highlight any technical issues, discrepancies or other issues to the Lead Engineer.
- Support the Lead Engineer with the day to day running of a Structural Modification Zone and deputise during periods of absence.
- Undertake any reasonable activities as required, including working away from London Gatwick.
**Requirements**:

- Hold a valid EASA and/or UK CAA Category B1 Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
- Type ratings on the following aircraft:
Boeing 737 NG and 787 (essential).
Boeing 737 Max and 777 (desirable).
