We are looking to recruit a part-time experienced catering assistant/cook for our busy cafe. Our Centre is open seven days a week for fifty weeks of the year, and the role includes some weekend shifts.

The following competencies and responsibilities are essential for this role:

- One year's experience in food preparation, cooking to order, plating and presentation for service
- Serving in our busy cafe, offering first-class customer service
- Managing, organising and cleaning the kitchen
- Dealing with suppliers and ordering stock and ingredients
- Maintaining the highest food safety standards and ensuring documentation and requirements for certification are up to date at all times

This part-time position is approximately 30 hours per week. Work hours are typically between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm, to include a share of weekend working.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour
