At National Gas we help grow and aid in the UK achieving net zero, were on the lookout for an exceptional Senior Energy Forecast Officer to join us.- So, what are we looking for you may be asking yourself??- Are you a proven Team Leader and want to experience what it's like to be a Senior Energy Forecast Officer, You will be supporting your manager in ensuring a highly productive motivated team whilst Including undertaking appropriate development of forecast models and techniques to deliver improved incentive performance and support internal operational risk management.- You will be highly analytical in predicting real world changes using raw data to ensure that objectives are consistently hit in the aim of promoting positive change and growth.- On any given day you and your team will be responsible for liaising between internal teams and external teams/organisation such as Ofgem, at present we are working towards schemes and new price control deals for 2026.- Finally, you will be liaising throughout the business as well as external organisation so excellent communication both written and verbal is a must.- You will have a passion for exploring the unknown and finding out what makes things tick so being inquisitive is something we really value.- It would be advantageous if you possess any form of qualification in economics, mathematics or statistics or equally come from a like for like industry/organisation.**Sound like this could be your next role?
