Crane Supervisor

- Location: Wokingham
- Contract type: Temporary (Full time)
- Start date: January 3rd
- Duration: 1 Week (Could lead onto further work)
- Pay rate: £20 - £21 per hour.

**The company**:
A well establish contractor that operates in various sectors such as the industrials, education, commercial and refurbishment space.

**The role**:
As the Crane Supervisor on site, you will be responsible for the following:

- Briefing and holding meeting on crane operations with the team
- Ensuring that all lifts are in accordance with lifting plan.
- Working alongside the Slinger **and have a presence on site and will assist with slinging.**:

- Ensuring that the conditions on site are safe before doing lifts

**About you**:

- You will be working alongside the lifting teams to provide safe direction and supervision to the crane operators. Their main responsibility is to ensure the safety of the operators, and any other workers or site visitors that could be at risk.
- Up to 2 years' experience in Crane supervisor capacity
- You will have a CPCS / NPORS CSCS Banksman Slinger ticket.
- Working knowledge of site health & safety procedures would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Strong work ethic in a team.
- Be approachable and happy to work as point of contact when working in a standalone position.
