Metalis are currently recruiting for a **Goods In Inspector** to join a fantastic client of ours, based in Sheffield on a **FULL TIME** and **PERMANENT** basis. Our client are specialist manufacturers of assemblies, composites, and precision materials.

This role is a **Monday to Friday role, days only.**

**Key Tasks**:

- Support production to inspect parts at goods inward and ensure release in a timely manner
- Measure and release products in the CMM room as part of work in progress to ensure conformance to drawing
- Sign off QA documentation and race packs as needed
- Review job order completions ensuring the documentation has been signed off and the correct paper work has been supplied to the customer
- Use the data logging system to record all transactions
- Scan relevant inspection data to job orders and item master

**Key Requirements**:

- The ability to use measuring equipments such as Micrometers, shadow graph, cmm machines etc.
- Understanding of engineering drawings
- IT Skills, confident in using a computer and of different software's
- Experience in a quality role in an engineering environment.
