We are working hard to become the leading residential care group in the South of England. We need an equally dedicated **Clinical Lead **for our** Fairmile Grange Care Home **in Christchurch** **to join us on the journey.

Your new Clinical Lead role:
As the Clinical Lead, you will lead the delivery of a quality and comprehensive dementia care and nursing care service within Fairmile Grange Care Home. Leading the clinical team, you will manage the complex clinical needs of the residents whilst also promoting their independence and wellbeing. This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to spend time with residents and staff. You will have dedicated management time to ensure effective running and allocation of work to a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.

The scope of the role is diverse, requiring a flexible individual with a ‘can do’ approach, excellent communication skills, and be knowledgeable about the Care Quality Commission’s regulations. You will take an active role, in partnership with the Home Manager, to lead the home to meet the 'good' and 'outstanding' characteristics of the CQC key lines of enquiry.

**Summary of duties**:

- Act as Clinical Lead for the Home
- Be a highly performing role model and an inspiring leader by adopting and leading a culture that endorses the company’s values and ethos
- To maintain excellent clinical performance and health & safety standards
- Advise the Home Manager and the Service Support Manager on clinical care matters
- Lead the nursing and care team, through protected supernumerary and practice hours
- To support the maintenance of a positive reputation for the Home in the local community
- Oversee all aspects of the Home in the absence of the Care Home Manager in partnership with the Service Support Manager
- In conjunction with Services Support Manager, take lead role undertaking audits and generating and implementing action plans in line with annual governance programme
- To help build and maintain a well-motivated and engaged workforce
- To perform direct nursing duties on a basis agreed with the Home Manager in accordance with contractual arrangements
- Maintain effective communication and adhere to company policies

What You Need To Succeed:

- Valid RGN NMC Registration
- Experience within a health and social care setting with older people
