**Trainee Purchase Ledger Clerk**

Clemence Rogers are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Controller to join an established team based in Stocksbridge.

This is trainee position, with full training provided. Our client is looking for enthusiastic individuals with a willingness to learn.

**The purchase ledger clerks take responsibility for**:

- Processing of invoices.
- Payment of invoices.
- Making one off payments to external contractors outside of normal payment runs.
- Resolving any invoice queries and gaining authorisation.
- Responding to payment queries from external contractors.
- Assisting with the month end bank reconciliation.
- Assisting with the production of year end or periodic accounts.
- Taking card payments over the phone from customers.
- Answering telephone queries from customers.
- Assisting with general administrative tasks
- Good IT skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, good planning and organisational skills.
- Excellent numeracy, written and communication skills.
- Problem solving abilities.

**Hours of work are Full Time 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:45am - 5pm with 30 minute lunch break**
