**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Manage a list of key/strategic suppliers
- Assist the Inventory Planner in Setting Inventory Levels across multiple sites
- Measure Supplier Delivery Performance & develop actions to improve.
- Oversee spares spend analysis and work with internal teams to identify cost down & resourcing opportunities.
- As a Super-User in our ERP system you will train TMs and develop process and system enhancements.
- Work with the commodity team to develop relationships with suppliers.
- Cover for the Supply chain Manager in times of absence
- Develop & support initiatives to improve department KPI’s
**Essential Criteria**:
- Educated to a minimum of GCSE Standard or equivalent
- Experience of a Purchasing role gained within a busy office environment
- Good general IT & Microsoft skills especially Excel
- Ability to organise and prioritise workload using your own initiative to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
