**The role - Behaviour Mentor - Haringey**

In this highly rewarding position, you will be responsible for supporting students with challenging behaviour or who are vulnerable in nature. Mentoring and supporting students who need extra support is part of this role. Assisting selected students with their academic studies as well as their personal targets based around their social and emotional needs, Behaviour Mentors work closely both inside and outside the classroom. It is essential that you are an excellent listener and open as a behaviour mentor so that you can form relationships with your students. Having experience working with challenging behaviours is beneficial for behaviour mentors since they must be able to think quickly when a challenging behaviour situation arises.
