**About The Team & Role**

Part of the Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub, our service provides support for people who are at risk of long-term unemployment including people with disabilities, young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) and Care experienced young people.

We are currently seeking a School Coordinator to help raise the aspirations of young people in areas of deprivation by promoting employment and developing appropriate pathways which will support them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

This role involves working with schools to help them understand the opportunities available, building their capacity to deliver the guidance and advice needed for young people around their employment needs including self-employment.

**About you**

You will be innovative, creative with a customer focus and have excellent communication skills, which will allow for you to develop a range of close links with a range of partners; including other GCC teams, all with the aim of increasing skills base, knowledge and the opportunities available.
