We are looking for a customer centric, hands on Risk Support Coordinator, where you will be providing support to the established Risk Department. The role will involve contacting customers, discussing payment plans and financial support. This role will suitan individual who is proactive, has high attention to detail, is organised, accurate and professional. You will be joining a long standing, rewarding and motivated team of people who all interact well and make this an enjoyable place to work. This role isoffered on a part time basis, hours to suit with a minimum of 20 hours ideally.

**Main responsibilities of the Risk Support Coordinator**
- Assisting in the daily operational management of the incoming and ongoing business requests in relation to risk activities
- Review accounts created and where applicable carry out credit checking via Dun & Bradstreet
- To manage and carry out necessary checks on D & B alerts and Companies House
- Validate any account amendments and update systems accordingly
- To assist with the management of the payment plans within the Credit and Risk Department
- To assist with accounts that are escalated to Risk from the Credit Control team
- To make pre-legal calls and assist in the maintenance of the pre-legal ledger
- To communicate with team members for information sharing, and to find solutions to resolve account issues where possible
- Assist with credit increase requests carrying out the required checks and validation

- Excellent customer service

- To have excellent communication skills and can build relationships easily
- Must have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Able to deal appropriately and maturely with difficult situations
- The ability to be sensitive to vulnerable customers and to remain discrete and professional

- Good knowledge of Excel

The salary offered is c£25,000 (pro rata) per annum plus bonus of £2,500 - £3,000 with 25 days holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays, parking, pension.

The hours are based on a minimum of 20 hours per week, hybrid working model with one day in the office, Tuesday or Wednesday. Please note you would be required to work three days in the office for your first two weeks of training.
