Trainee Machinist

We are looking for a trainee Machine operative to start a full time job for a client based in Cross Hills, BD20.

Previous experience in not required as full training will be provided. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who is looking to venture into the joinery industry and is willing to be trained or someone who has just completed a NVQ in Wood machining. This job has great potential for progression.

**Hours**: 7:30am - 4:30pm Mon-Fri with overtime available

**Temp to perm**: (permanent after 13 weeks)

**Pay**: £12.00 per hour

Experience in using a Beam saw and Edgebander is ideal

Forklift Licence is advantageous but not essential as a course will be offered on the job

**Duties**:

- Will mainly be using machinery such as - Beam Saw/CNC/Cross Cut Saw/ Edgebander
- Assisting the production team within their workshop
- Setting up machinery and equipment
- Allocating stock items and ensuring materials are readily available for machining
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment
