As an Organisational Development Specialist, you will plan, design, and implement programs and coaching solutions to ensure that we are equipped to meet learning and development needs now and in the future. Your experience in OD activities will enable you to establish a thriving learning environment that complements our dynamic culture.

The role will be responsible for overseeing compliance and training frameworks, managing apprenticeship programmes and running our early careers programme, so we welcome experience in these areas particularly from a regulated environment. The role will also feed into all OD projects as part of the employee lifecycle so if your experience is more generalist we would still like to hear from you.

You will work closely with the OD Manager and HR Business Partners to ensure that all OD initiatives support the strategic direction and people plan of the business. Your ability to build and maintain good relationships will allow you to engage confidently with stakeholders to scope out areas of focus for learning and development. You will interact with the wider HR team and are comfortable working at a managerial level, supporting junior members of the OD team to contribute to team efforts.

A history of proven success in planning, implementing and rolling out learning and development modules projects is crucial to succeed in this role. As a strategic thinker, you are always on top of the latest trends and best practices in the HR and OD area and can suggest improvements that will enhance the employee experience.

**What will you be accountable for?**
- Delivering our Early Careers programme which includes apprenticeships and developing our engagement with schools and colleges within our supply area
- Ensuring we maintain compliance across all our mandatory training
- Working with our Operational teams to develop competency and skills frameworks
- Engaging directly with relevant business leaders to ensure that the identification of learning need is appropriately understood and scoped, designed with the end user in mind and providing measures of success after roll-out.
- Liaising with stakeholders, OD Manager and Business Partners to ensure OD activity is supporting the wider employee development plan.
- Acting as a partner to client-facing HR teams, supporting the initiation, delivery and providing communications for effective roll-out of programmes.
- Leading continuous improvement and ongoing delivery of programs in conjunction with HR information systems (e.g. TAP) to drive system improvements.
- Keeping up to date with trends, new technology and best practices in the training and OD area and suggesting solutions to enhance existing talent management practices.
- Ensuring OD initiatives are within budget and identifying any potential cost savings to maximise value.

**What do you bring to the role?**
- Ideally qualified to Level 7 CIPD or someone with significant equivalent experience.
- An established OD specialist with proven experience in overseeing compliance, mandatory training, and apprenticeships.
- Ideally, you are from an operational background and have worked within a business partner model.
- Demonstrable experience working in an OD team and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to implement learning and development schemes.
- Excellent collaboration skills and can interact with individuals across all organisational levels.
- Proactive and able to work independently when needed.
- A full clean driving license.
