**Bottling Operative**

**Hen Hall**

We are recruiting for a Bottling Operative to work at our Hen Hall site in Bury St Edmonds. In this role you will work 12 hour shifts in a combination of days and night. Shifts are Monday to Friday (Saturday AM finish for Friday nights). Shifts are planned over a 7 week rotation and you will have 2 weeks notice of start and finish times which are variable. To compensate for the shift pattern this role carries a generous shift pattern.

Key Accountabilities:

- Control of factory output - Ensure that line is run to agreed production plan; contribute to ensuring that the bottling line achieves the shift target; By discussion implement changes that affect the line efficient; Request and ensure all supporting services are available. Ensure correct stock rotation for all products.
- Quality - Control Performance on Quality in line with Greene King policy; Ensure Corrective Action to reduce quality issues; Ensure customer complaints are kept to minimum and emerging trends steadily reduced; Ensure that the bottling site activity meets all legal production requirements; Ensure all on line Quality checks are carried out.
- Staff - work as a team to develop a culture that reflects the company core values.
- KPIs - Ensure line efficiency and adherence to planned outputs is achieved; By control of processes, ensure minimum beer loss target are achieved; Ensure budgets are achieved and proactively seek to better.
- Hygiene - Develop a culture "of clean as you go"; Ensure the bottling site can sustain on the spot audits; Ensure the bottling site is handed over to incoming shifts in correct manner.
- Health & Safety - Ensure that defects to all machinery, factory fixtures and fabric are reported immediately; Ensure that you have appropriate H&S training and PPE to fulfil your job description; Regularly promote ownership of H&S issues to colleagues; Ensure that facility adheres to Greene King Health & Safety policy at all times. Ensure environmental standards/consents are not contravened.

About you:

- Previous experience in an FMCG environment is highly desirable.
- Develop a pro-active 'can do' culture.
- Complete any paperwork and reporting required at the appropriate time.
- Whilst adhering to the Production Plan react as necessary to unforeseen occurrences to ensure optimum production is achieved.
- Be able to be flexible across aspects across the bottling function.
- Be able to carry out all tasks that are within your training portfolio when requested by your Manager.
- Basic Food hygiene advantageous.
- Basic HACCP advantageous.
