**Salary**: £55,000 - £65,000, plus bonus scheme

Mercury Recruitment are currently working with one of our well - established clients, who are looking for a Nursing Home manager for their medium sized Nursing Home, which is based in a very picturesque location in Staffordshire.

The home is very commutable from Derby/ Derbyshire

We are looking for a RGN, RMN or RNLD, who is experienced in managing a Nursing Home, which specialises in delivering the highest standard of Nursing, Residential & Dementia care.

**As a Nursing Home manager, you will be responsible for**:

- Actively ensuring the home has the highest possible levels of occupancy
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies and CQC regulatory requirements
- Building your team, by recruiting and developing the right people to grow the business and supporting their career development
- Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and used effectively
- Support the Clinical Team in ensuring the delivery of quality care - continually assessing the residents needs and wishes and developing the service to enhance their quality of life
- You will be a genuinely caring individual who’s first thought is for the residents, ensuring they receive the best possible care at all times.
- You will be a qualified nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid PIN and excellent clinical skills.
- You will have at least 5 years’ experience as a registered manager within a care home setting.
- You will have strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- You must have a sound knowledge of the CQC regulations as well as all other relevant external organisation’s requirements and a passion for governance/compliance.
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to maximise financial performance/exceed budgetary targets.
- Commutable distance to Staffordshire
- Ideally you will have Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, however this is not essential.
