**Job Description**:
Family Support Worker - Merseyside
Pay rate - £20 per hour
Pertemps is recruiting for Family Support Workers to join a Children’s Safeguarding team in Merseyside.
This role would suit either a Newly Qualified Social Worker, looking to gain further paid experience, or an experienced Family Support Worker looking for a new role.
You will provide practical and emotional support to children young people and their families to safeguard and promote their welfare. You will work with parents and families to enable them to make positive changes and meet their children’s care needs in order to enable them to achieve their potential. You will undertake life story work with children.
You will have an NVQ level 3, relevant to working with children and families, or a Social Work qualification, along with experience in working with service users at risk of statutory intervention as part of a multi-agency team.
Hybrid working is available, so you can work from home 2 to 3 times per week.
