Title: Assistant Activities Coordinator (Volunteer)

Job description:
We are a 33 bed residental care home in Birchington, with many residents living with the effects of dementia.

We are looking for reliable individuals that can commit some time on a monthly or weekly basis to spend time with some of our residents. This may be as a part of a group, as a 1-2-1 activity or helping out with special events or trips.
- Days/times negotiable.

**Requirements**:

- No previous experience necessary but just a clear passion for the role.

Desirable:

- Talent/Hobby - A skill you can help the residents with. Are you a keen gardener? Can you play an instrument? Do you like crafts?
- Understanding & awareness of Dementia

**Responsibilities**:

- To engage with residents on a 1-2-1, small group or large group basis
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
