Minibus Driver

**Location** : Birdston Day Care, 100 Birdston Road, Kirkintilloch

**Hours** : Full Time - 40hrs

**Shift Patterns**: 8:30am - 5:30pm between Monday - Saturday

**Rate** : £11.62 - £12.08 per hour

Pacific Care Limited is an established care provider bringing together services and care home facilities for older persons. A family-owned business with a proven track record in the Care industry, with a portfolio of five care facilities throughout Glasgow and Renfrewshire.

We are now looking to recruit caring, enthusiastic, committed and professional individuals to deliver excellent care to our new and existing residents and be part of a team that is committed to provide long-term and short-term care for our residents.

**Role**

To drive a 17-seater mini-bus in a secure and comfortable manner ensuring safety at all times.

Escort Service Users to and from their homes ensuring safe transfer on and off the bus daily

Escort Service Users on organised day trips

To provide care and work as part of a team to achieve required standards

To ensure Service Users retain their dignity and individuality

To be involved in the general activities of the Care facility

To ensure that any defects are reported and documented in line with company guidelines

**Requirements**:
PSV must be up to date and evidence of current training (essential)

Must have a PCV License

Applicants will have a D1 on their driving licence which must be current and up to date

Satisfactory PVG Scheme Record Check

Good communication skills

Have a genuine interest in working within a care environment and for the welfare of the older person - personal care

**Desired**

A Clean driving licence

Previous experience working in a care setting would be advantageous for this position.
