**What are we looking for in a Front of House Catering Assistant?**
- 1 - 2 years’ work experience in barista, customer service and till work. We will also provide training

**Working week**:
Part-time, 8 hours per week; including 4 hours on both Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There may be the opportunity to provide holiday cover, so some flexibility over availability is required.
**Wages**:
National Minimum Wage/Living Wage - depending on age
**Purpose of role**:
To assist in the day-to-day provision of catering services to our customers both within the coffee shop and on-site catering. Under the daily supervision of the Café Lead and the Front of House Supervisor, to assist in the provision of the highest level of professional customer service, food and beverage service and health and hygiene practice for our customers.
**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
- To provide great customer service and satisfaction
- To assist with the serving of all meals and beverages to customers
- Till work and cash handling
- To maintain a safe and hygienic workplace throughout working day
- To assist with cleaning down the kitchen and coffee shop after service
- To comply with all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety Legislation & COSHH Regulations
- To support with the processing of deliveries
**Professional standards and expectations**:
- Adhere to appropriate standards of dress, personal hygiene, timekeeping, and behaviour
- To be friendly, polite, positive, and professional when communicating with both customers and colleagues
- To respond to customer queries in a timely and efficient manner
- To have a flexible approach to working hours and to be prepared to provide cover if requested.
- The post holder may be asked to take on different tasks as required. All employees are expected to work collaboratively to support the overall work of Cabbages & Kings
