**Chemical Waste Assessor**

**The Opportunity**

Join Safetykleen as a Waste Assessment Specialist and play a vital role in ensuring the safe and environmentally responsible management of waste streams. Your responsibilities will include assessing new waste streams, reviewing wastes according to current and future regulations, identifying and classifying wastes, and maintaining compliance with legislation. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to environmental sustainability while receiving full training and support for personal and professional development. **Responsibilities of Chemical Waste Assessor**
- Follow Government guidelines on hazardous waste removal, transportation, and disposal.
- Raising Technical Assessment Reports.
- Keeping up with KPI’s for fast turnaround.
- Producing weekly and monthly reports.
- Taking calls from internal stakeholders to assist with technical queries.

**Skills and experience required.**
- Someone with a background in Chemistry.
- Hazardous waste knowledge is advantageous.
- Has an eye for detail and takes pride in their work.
