UTLITY SUPERVISOR (SEWERS)

**We are actively seeking a Supervisor who can work within a team environment and is happy to muck in where necessary. The role is as follows**:
To manage the day to day activities of digging squads and resolve any issues

Responsibility for ensuring all work is carried out within the guidelines set out by our client Northern Ireland Water

Reporting to the Contract Manager, you are expected to plan the daily scheduling whilst working within specific timeframes

Working in a team of three, you will liaise with the other Supervisors to ensure the work is completed efficiently and to high standards

Computer literacy is essential and training will be given on our bespoke system

Experience in managing squads is desired, however knowledge of sewers would be preferable, with a keen interest in learning the job. Training will be provided for the right person

This is a very busy working environment and offers overtime and weekend work. You would be expected to be available for "On Call", working on a rota basis

Hours of work are 07:00 - 17:00 (Monday-Friday)

Van (including diesel) & Mobile phone provided

**About The Role**

The role will involve scheduling work for the squads using our in-house system

This will include repair and maintenance work e.g. sewer repairs to new sewer connections, manhole lids etc

You will also be expected to ensure all paperwork, maps and information pertaining to the jobs is accurate and up to date

Must be organised and have the ability to re-schedule work at short notice

Building good working relationships with NI Water Field Managers, colleagues and squads is an integral part of the role.
