Colposcopy Co-ordinator

A rare post has arisen within the Colposcopy / Gynaecology team for a Colposcopy Co-ordinator to support services based at City and Sandwell site.

The colposcopy Co-ordinator position combines elements of administrative and secretarial roles and involves coordinating data collection and validation form Public Health England as part of the colposcopy quality assurance service.

The post holder will require strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are needed between the colposcopy coordinator with the consultants, members of the clinical team and other support staff within the organisation, and external bodies.

Daily management of referrals and appointments into the Colposcopy unit

Preparation of patient records on the database prior to clinic

Maintaining the colposcopy database and reporting data

Organise, prepare, attend and minute MDT Colposcopy meetings meetings

An understanding of the RTT process
