Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Group Finance team, based at our Head Office in South Leeds.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role with act as support to the Group management accounts teams in the production of the management accounts, as well as providing support for Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Payroll.
**Salary**
Up to £24,000 (dependent on experience)
**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsibility for the process flow in the WebExpenses systems, ensuring that the ad-hoc expenses and credit card returns are completed promptly
- Responsibility for transactional processing into the gross profit summaries, i.e. waste costs, motor costs, credit cards, labour
- Provide cover for other elements of the cash/treasury process such as the Invoice Discount Facility
- Purchase ledger input/invoice register processing and Supplier statement reconciliations
- Support for credit control and payroll on an ad-hoc basis.
- General accounts and office admin as required
- Assist the Group Finance Director and Finance Manager in working with other areas of the business to develop and deliver timely analysis of data and commercial insight to support and drive business decision making, particularly in relation to commercial reporting
