**Contract Type: Part Time, Permanent position (3 days+)**
**Salary: £21,000 - £27,000 per year on a pro rata basis**

**Role Summary**
Victorious Events are looking for an experienced Account Assistant to join their small, friendly team based in Southsea. This will be a varied role, and you will be reporting directly to the Accounts Manager. This is a part-time, permanent office-based position.

Þ **Victorious Festival** - a family-friendly major music festival with over 150,000 attendees each August Bank Holiday Weekend

Þ **D-Day 75**:

- working for Portsmouth City Council; a huge commemorative event attended by the Queen, Donald Trump, Teresa May and other world leaders alongside over 60,000 members of the public over 4 days.

Þ **We Shine Portsmouth** - supporting Portsmouth Creates CIC with their successful lights festival and local creatives market, championing access to culture within the city.

We also support other festivals and events across the UK including providing concessions management at **Y Not Festival** (Derbyshire), Event Management Support for **Truck Festival**, (Oxford) and **Tramlines Festival** (Sheffield) as well as site crew services to the above and local events.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- To assist the Accounts Manager with the daily running of the accounts function
- Entering invoices into the financial system within required timescales.
- Raising sales invoices.
- Handling daily bookkeeping.
- Account reconciliations.
- To assist with preparing VAT returns
- To assist with other data entry requirements.
- Additional admin duties as designated by management.

**Skills & Experience**
- Have knowledge of Excel/Microsoft packages and general strong computer literacy.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task.
- AAT Level 1/2 or equivalent experience essential.
- Interest in music, events & festivals beneficial but not essential.
