**A Family based in London is seeking to recruit an experienced Nanny to look after G5 & B6 years old**

The main qualities the family is looking for in the Nanny are discipline with kindness, be loving and caring, and being enthusiastic and fun.

This is an exceptional role for an Ex-Nursery teacher or current Nanny that has demonstrated loyalty within their current employment. The parents need someone who thrives from being in a fast-paced family and enjoys working in a busy home and can take initiative. You need to be reliable, and kind and set positive clear boundaries for the children who enjoy the structure and routine which is already in place. Someone adaptable as all the children have a busy schedule and need you to be able to manage your time well and be a self-starter.

**Duties will involve**:

- Planning fun and engaging activities to entertain the children, including lots of time outdoors
- Tidying up with the children after activities
- Basic household chores for the children only
- Packing for the children’s holidays and checklists
- Keeping on top of the children’s wardrobe
- Managing the children’s calendar
- Organising educational activities for school holidays i.e. scavenger hunts, arts and crafts activities, making photo/memory books, fun math and literacy activities
- Proactive in organising fun events and birthday parties, researching things to do in the local area and while on holiday
- Encouraging the children to do sports and be active
- Suggesting new and fun things to do based on what the children are liking to do at that moment in time
- Keeping on top of what new books are coming out and supporting the children’s love of reading
- Coordinating daily activities and supervising transportation to and from all engagements, playdates, appointments, classes, and activities.
- Liaising with the chef a week ahead, and being in charge of being creative with the menu
- Socialising with other parents and nannies and being proactive in organising play dates for the children.
- Taking the initiative when the children are playing to tidy up or prep something else small, encouraging the children to play on their own and with each other more, without adult interaction.

**Essential criteria**:

- Childcare-related qualifications, ex-teacher/Governess/Nanny
- Speak fluent English at a native level
- Supporting the children with homework and educational activities
- Excellent time management, planning is really important
- The ability to work with household staff is very important and communication with them is key
- Working alongside the other nanny
- Traveling with families on holidays
- Pet friendly - there is one dog

**Working schedule: 5 working days per week, 7 am - 7 pm, including weekends**
**Location: Chelsea, London**
**Salary: £65,000 gross per annum, plus paid overtime**
**Start Date: ASAP**
