**Family Worker (Level 1) x 2 - Early Help and Education**:

**Salary 24 hours post: £15,889 - £18,402 per annum**:
**Salary 18.5 hours post: £12,248 - £14,185 per annum**:
**North Locality, including Blandford, Gillingham, Shaftesbury, Sturminster Newton and Sherborne**:
Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to join our friendly and welcoming North Education and Early Help Team as a Level 1 Family Worker. The role will involve direct work with Children, Young People and Families delivered in their own homes or in the community.

We have 2 part time vacancies; 24 hours and 18.5 hours per week.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience in supporting Children and Families and has a background in Early Years, Education, Youth Work, or an Equivalent field.

The role will include lone working and travelling across the North Dorset Locality which includes the five towns of Blandford, Gillingham, Shaftesbury, Sturminster Newton and Sherborne.

Your base will be Sturminster Newton, and a travel allowance will be paid for journeys across the locality.

**What you can expect to be doing**:
As a Level 1 Family Worker, you will:

- Undertake direct family work
- Undertake link work with schools within North Dorset
- Plan and deliver programmes of group work interventions
- Be part of a multi-Agency Team offering support/advice through our Front Door on a rota system
- Be part of a multi-Agency Team supporting each other

**About you**:
You will:

- have GCSE grade C in Maths and English
- have experience of working with and supporting Children and/or Families
- be dedicated to improving outcomes for Dorset's Children and Families
- be self-motivated, enthusiastic and used to working in a fast-paced environment
- demonstrate and role model Responsibility, Respect, Recognition and Collaboration in line with Dorset's behaviours and values.
