An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant to join our team in Day Therapies.

The role is varied and involves cannulating and venesecting patients as well as the general care of the patient whilst undergoing blood transfusions and intravenous drugs for many different long term conditions.

The clinic also includes a PICC line dressing service. You will also be required to support clinics that run on the unit including a lumber puncture clinic and to be able to cover for the receptionist during leave, therefore to be confident with telephones, computers and IT. All training is provided in house.

The hours are 08.30 - 16.30 Mon - Fri.

As a Health Care Support Worker, you will be a hugely valuable support to our Nursing and Midwifery teams providing care to our patients. Every day will be different and you will work alongside the rest of the team carrying out a wide range of tasks and assisting with care to support the needs of the patients and their families.
