**Video Editor - One year fixed term contract**

**Hours: Full-time, 35 working hour week**

**Location: Hybrid - Minimum 2 days/week in our Bath office**

**The role**:
We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team at Dialect, an integrated creative and media agency. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in creating and delivering high-quality video content for our clients in the tech and gaming industries. Working with a multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for crafting compelling video content that engages and excites our clients’ audiences.

**Job Specific Skills and Attributes**
- Essential Skills:_
- Advanced Adobe Premiere skills
- Passion for tech and gaming
- Microscopic attention to detail and an absolute insistence on making every edit better than the last
- Experience handling every step of post-production, from ingest to assembly to final mix & grade, but also
- experience acting as the keystone of a collaborative workflow involving specialist animators, colourists, audio techs etc
- Ability to work autonomously when needed, but also
- willingness to work under close supervision of a Producer/Creative when needed
- Ability to work flexibly in a reactive environment
- Preferred Skills:_
- Working knowledge of After Effects
- Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve
- Working knowledge of Audition
- Experience of proxy workflow
- Studio and location camera/lighting/sound knowledge or a desire to learn (but this is entirely optional: if you want to stick to post then that’s fine too)

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
