At Siemens Mobility Limited, we are recruiting for a Receptionist/Administrator. Working as part of the Education and Skills Administration and Facilities team in Northampton, the Receptionist of the National Training Academy for Rail (NTAR) building will be the face of the team, responsible for entrance and access control, ensuring you are speaking with and advising all visitors in a polite and respectable manner and conducting functionally specialised administrative tasks. You will also support the day to day management of the Northampton NTAR building and provide administrative support to the business organising training as required.

This role is 37.5 hour per week, permanent full-time.

**What are my responsibilities?**

**NTAR Building**
- You will greet visitors to NTAR and perform entrance and access controls at a receptionist's desk, receive and switch incoming calls to the relevant parties and verify credentials of persons entering the property, and announce them to the appropriate contact person.
- Assure that packages leaving the property are duly authorised.
- Keeps reception area clean and presentable.
- Arrange and opens conference calls.
- Arrange taxis and courier collection and delivery.
- Arrange meetings - booking rooms and preparing catering requirements and keeping the meeting rooms tidy, reporting any issues and replenishing stationary items.
- Orders catering supplies.
- Take responsibility for raising issues of concern.
- Take reasonable care to avoid acts or omissions that may have an environmental impact.
- Accept personal responsibility to take care of ourselves and others affected by our own acts or omissions.
- Ensure awareness and understanding of Siemens compliance policies and ‘Tell Us’ ethos.

**Systems and Customer Relationships**
- Collaborate with internal and external customers
- Prepare specialised routine report and correspondence, and/or statistics.
- Complete routine reports, in order to support decision processes in the area assigned.
- Performs the administration of programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the organisation unit served Support Training and Event Coordinators and cover the role as required.
