**Café Attendant - Part Time (16 Hours)**
Peter Green Furnishers are an established luxury furnishings store based in Chandlers Ford, Southampton. As part of our commitment to customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Café Attendant.
As a Café Attendant at Peter Green Furnishings you will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall customer experience by providing exceptional service at our in-store coffee shop. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of high-quality foods & beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the coffee shop area, and ensuring that customers receive a warm and inviting atmosphere while enjoying their beverages.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Barista Duties**:
Cook, present, and serve a variety of foods and beverages in accordance with established recipes and quality standards. Demonstrate expertise in a variety of food preparation methods and brewing techniques as well as maintain knowledge of different teas and coffees. Customize orders based on customer preferences and dietary restrictions.
**Customer Service**:
Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere in the coffee shop. Take customer orders using the till accurately and efficiently, ensuring a positive and seamless end to end service in the Café where customers receive their orders in a timely manner. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide assistance as needed.
**Cleanliness and Organization**:
Maintain a clean and organized coffee shop area, including the preparation and serving areas, as well as seating areas. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
**Collaboration**:
Coordinate with store staff to enhance the overall shopping experience for customers. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and a passion for delivering high-quality beverages.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: Up to £11.54 per hour
