**The Opportunity**

In this role you will be supporting the delivery of plans for growth in the chilled meals market. You will deliver regular category insights to both internal and external stakeholders as well as compiling category stories and monthly reviews. You will assist the Senior Category Manager and Head of Category on ad hoc projects. You will also become the go to person for data insight.

Key Responsibilities:

- Download and investigation of continuous monthly data sources (IRI/Kantar/Dunnhumby data) to facilitate monthly reporting and category understanding.
- Turning market and retailer data into truly actionable insights
- Evaluation of ‘market gap’ opportunities for the chilled meals category to translate into commercially viable propositions utilising store visits and store audit data.
- Capture evidence & evaluate retailer activation of key events i.e. Christmas, Valentines Day etc
- Experience in a similar role
- Strongly analytical and inquisitive
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint, PowerBi
- A ‘So What?’ approach to insights and presentations.
- Food industry experience desirable but not essential
