Job Title: Group Reservationist

Department: Reservations

Reports To: Room Revenue Manager

Hourly rate: £22,000.00 per annum, full time 40 hours per week

**Primary Job Purpose**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reservationist to join our team. The successful applicant will assist in maintaining the high level of service we strive for. This a busy and rewarding role, and would suit a personable and well organised individual who is passionate about customer service and committed to supporting the needs of our guests and clients in order to provide the best guest experience.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- To answer all incoming calls consistently and in a friendly and efficient manor
- In charge of the group enquiries for the collection of hotels
- Ensure all enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.
- Completing group reports on a weekly basis
- Ensure all enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.
- Conduct regular sales call and evaluations with partners.
- Explore new clients to ensure the company has identified all opportunities for revenue generation from each new account/client by building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Inputting rooming lists and pre-orders
- Maintain accurate filing system for groups and ensure that each group block is traced
- Create and update group block notes to provide relevant data pertaining to all group reservations, and coordinate with other departments as needed to provide group reservation information and group needs as specified in contract.
- To maintain up to date knowledge of the resorts, services, products and events
- To take reservations and enter bookings on to the system accurately
- Maximise selling opportunities by adding value at every opportunity
- Maintain, develop and monitor the client database.
- Maintain high standard of personal appearance and hygiene including wearing and maintaining a clean uniform at all times
- Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook including any department specific procedures
- Be aware of and follow all Health and Safety procedures
- **To be aware at all times of current business targets and to focus at all times on achieving these targets.**:

- **Liaise with front desk staff to communicate the no shows; late cancellations; overbookings, etc.**
