**The Opportunity**

We have a new vacancy for a Technical Supervisor to join our team at Tinsley depot

Reporting to the Technical Manager you will build solid and lasting relationships with senior technical, commercial and operational management across the business and with our customers and client group. The role will be supported by area managers, technicians. Ideally suited to a person looking to develop into a senior managerial role in the quarrying industry. This role involves working in shifts and flexibility will be required.

You will ensure that all technicians, company or subcontractors comply with safety, health and environmental standards. You will ensure that all contractor testing requirements are met. You will organise the day to day technical function of the laboratory services and assist the area technical manager and deputize in his absence to undertake UKAS accredited testing to both contractual and company standards. You will also assist the contracting business in meeting contractual testing on a national basis

- Detailed knowledge of testing standards and specifications relating to the asphalt and aggregate industry.
- Keen eye for detail and Articulate

- Experience & knowledge of full UKAS laboratory and site testing
- Detail and results oriented with strong personal values to succeed
