Warehouse Assistant

Job description

Working as part of a relatively small team there is a requirement for this role in our Warehouse to support increasing demand and meet our customer’s needs. The main activities are:

- Assisting with picking material for the sawyer to cut
- Assisting in our dispatch department, wrapping parcels and booking jobs with couriers
- Organising and priorising workloads
- Able to work individually or as part of a team assisting in the other areas of the business as and when required such as picking, wrapping, sawing
- General hygiene and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Operation of various Manual Handling Equipment such as pallet trucks
- Follow health & Safety Regulations and Manual Handling procedures

Essential skills Required:

- The ability to work as part of a small team
- A good understanding of numbers and the ability to take accurate measurements of products
- Excellent practical skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
