**Your day-to-day duties may include**:

- Covering sickness gaps from doctors on the Live On Call Rota & Medical Outlier Rotas
- Answering the telephone and making calls
- Using office equipment like photocopiers
- Filing documents
- Accurately inputting shifts onto TempRE
- Monitoring the number of patients on our Medical Outlier Wards, recording this on a spreadsheet.

1. To source cover for Doctor on call shifts in circumstances of sickness, escalating issues to the Rota Coordinator as they arise
2. Act as the first point of contact for dealing with routine enquiries, taking action as necessary liaising with others as appropriate
3. Communicate with staff, and/or external organisations using appropriate methods
4. Liaising with TSS in order to fill on call shifts whilst utilising the TempRE system to book locum doctors for vacant
1. Maintain an efficient and comprehensive administrative service, including photocopying, providing support to the departments and other team members as requested.
2. Utilise relevant Trust IT systems, as determined by the role, ensure all relevant patient data is collected and input accurately in line with Trust guidelines. This will include CRRS, to monitor the number of Displaced Patients on our Medical Wards.
3. Provide appropriate cover in the absence of other members of the team.
4. To undertake any other duties of a similar nature consistent with the responsibilities of the post in order to provide a quality service
5. To support the management of any enquiries relating to on call rotas ensuring that they are dealt with and responded to in a timely manner
6. Share ideas for potential service improvement.
