Installation Team Site Supervisor

Global EMC are looking for an experienced installation supervisor, with good communication skills, you must be willing to undergo national Security Clearance checks, be a UK Passport holder, and hold a UK driving licence and be prepared to travel overseasfor extended periods as the job requires. An interest / awareness in RF shielding and EMC would be an advantage but on the job training will be provided.

You must have the following CSCS card, IPAF, PASMA, and ideally hold or be prepared to obtain the following SMSTS,or SSSTS, IOSH, Banksman/ Slinger, Fork lift licence, First-aider.

You will
- Be responsible for the management, prioritisation and allocation of tasks and work-loads of the Installation team for all projects.
- Ensure each project is within the legal framework defined by each contract, taking account of the geographical, political, legal and cultural differences of each country.
- Work within and respect the geographical, political, legal and cultural differences of each country whilst in that country on site.
- Hold daily / weekly meetings with projects and manufacturing, to update on work-flow / load to ensure in line and on target with project schedule and deadlines.
- Highlight in a timely manner any on-site issues or delays to work, which may have impact on the project deadlines.
- Be the Global Point of contact for the customer and maintain good communications between all parties on and off site between Global and the customer.
- Ensure the installation team is properly staffed with the correct staff & skill set for each agreed project.
- Ensure all staff have the correct skills and training for the tasks undertaken and liaise for appropriate training as required.
- Ensure Safe methods of working are updated and signed off by staff.
- Be responsible for and produce Risk Assessments for all Installation tasks and any special one-off tasks or procedures.
- Be Competent in the use of all tools and power tools, needed in the Installation process.
- Understand the complexity and accuracy of the installation build, and process.
- Actively carry out the installation and lead and support the team with all physical tasks.
- Be responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety on site and all places of work and undertake daily health and safety checks during site installations.
- Be the designated Health and Safety representative for Global EMC on site installations and for the team.
- Conduct daily Toolbox talks when on site with all installation team and record and submit to the contracts manager.
- Be responsible for the day-to-day layout and tidiness of all working areas on site and in general.
- Oversee the goods in /out of specific project materials to site.
- Ensure Quality checks of all materials on arrival to site.
- Agree and deliver timing plans for each engineering project.
- Agree and deliver timing plans for each project and weekly update reports to Projects if these may be delayed.
- Be responsible for all on site BOM and project bay management, and ensure packing lists are QA cchecked prior to dispatch, and shipment.
- Be responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety in the warehouse and all places of work.
- When workload or staffing necessitates will assist in general warehouse and fabrication activities.
- Be responsible for and comply with the ISO9001 2015 standards at all times.
- Engage with and perform a continual PDP [Personal Develop Plan] with defined goals for yourself and staff.
