Electrical Maintenance Engineer required for our manufacturing client based in Wigan
**Your new company**
Your new company is a market leader in supplying products used in a range of industries. Owned by a wider group of companies, they are stable and receiving active investment within engineering. With multiple production lines producing completely different productsyou will be working with a range of machinery and different processes.
**Your new role**
Your new role as Electrical Maintenance Engineer will see you responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of site machinery and equipment in order to ensure smooth running of the factory and that production targets are hit. You will use a range of preventativeand reactive maintenance techniques and support the engineering team with additional products as required.
**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to succeed in being successful in this role you must have previous experience as an electrically biased maintenance engineer in a manufacturing facility. You will need to have experience fault finding on PLCs and other electrical manufacturing equipment.You will need to be willing to learn as this is a highly-regulated environment.
**What you'll get in return**
In return you will have the opportunity to work with a market leader, and grow your career with an established engineering team. You will receive a salary of £37,500 alongside a discretionary bonus. The engineering team operates on a double days basis howevergiven current successes the shift pattern will see you work an afternoon/late shift 1 in every 4 weeks. Overtime is also available, as well as access to training courses which will be provided to you by the company.
