Catering Supervisor

**The job itself**:
Could you join our established team as our next Catering Supervisor? Your key responsibilities will include:

- Liaising between the team and manager to ensure we continually exceed expectations
- Motivating the team to keep everyone on task
- Stock ordering
- Working with the current supervisor with managing inventories, monitoring budgets and implementing action plans
- Managing the tills and processing payments
- Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role
- Assisting with paperwork when required
- Representing East Riding Leisure Bridlington and maintaining a positive brand image

**Essential**
- Proven experience in managing successful teams in a similar environment
- NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2
- Level 2 Food Safety qualification
- Experience of leading and managing a small team of people
- Extensive catering experience
- I.T.literate

**What you'll be doing**:
We're recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor who is passionate about exceptional food and customer service, and who can confidently work alongside and oversee the catering operations for East Riding of Yorkshire Council on a 30 hour per week basis.

As a Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring our kitchen and cafe run smoothly as well as helping to deliver truly incredible food experiences. In return, you'll have the opportunity to work with a great team and gain qualifications and training.
