Warehouse Delivery Driver

**Strictly FX UK** is seeking a dependable and skilled Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our team at our Melksham location in England. As a Warehouse Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to operate company vehicles, transport products between the warehouse and designated delivery locations, and uphold high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Safe and Efficient Delivery: Operate company vehicles, such as vans or trucks, in a safe and efficient manner to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.

2. Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading products onto and from the delivery vehicle, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.

3. Route Planning: Plan and organize delivery routes effectively, optimizing delivery times and fuel efficiency while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.

4. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the delivery vehicle is in proper working condition. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly to the appropriate personnel.

5. Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and relevant documentation, including proof of delivery, customer signatures, and any other necessary paperwork.

6. Customer Service: Interact professionally and courteously with customers during deliveries, providing exceptional customer service and representing the company in a positive manner.

7. Warehouse Support: Assist with warehouse operations, including inventory management, organizing goods, and fulfilling orders when not engaged in delivery duties.

8. Adherence to Safety Standards: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating vehicles, loading and unloading goods, and working within the warehouse environment.

9. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with warehouse staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations, effective communication, and efficient workflow.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Valid and clean UK driver's license.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role is preferred.
- Excellent driving skills with a strong emphasis on safety and responsible driving practices.
- Ability to read and follow GPS navigation systems and maps effectively.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform loading/unloading tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour when dealing with customers.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining delivery records and documentation.
- Flexibility in working hours, as occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and equipment is a plus.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Salary and Benefits:
**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
