Poultry Worker

Elliott Eggs produce free range eggs on our farms in East Yorkshire

We now require a competent stockperson to work alongside our existing staff in our free range hen sheds.

The welfare of our birds is paramount, and therefore previous experience with commercial flocks is essential. You must be dedicated and adaptable and ready to follow strict biosecurity measures and instruction. Some computer training will be required to meet auditing standards.

Duties include walking the birds, associated management duties and daily egg collecting.

Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30 and ability to work Saturdays to approx 2pm would be advantageous but not critical.

Holidays 28 days inclusive of Bank Holidays. It is a requirement to work most Bank Holidays when overtime is paid.

The suitable applicant will not have any access to any other chickens/game birds for disease risks.

**Salary**: From £11.10 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
