Production Runner

Secret Cinema has been thrilling audiences for 15 years, delivering deeply unforgettable experiences, fusing the world of cinema and site-specific immersive entertainment. Audiences get the chance to experience their favourite characters and stories in a whole new way, and with titles like Moulin Rouge, Blade Runner and Dirty Dancing, attracting over half a million visitors in the past 5 years alone.

We are looking to recruit two proactive, open-minded and energetic individuals to get the opportunity to work with both the Operations and Production teams here at Secret Cinema as a Production Runner/Receptionist for our upcoming show ‘Secret Cinema Presents Grease’ in Birmingham. This is an entry level role suited to someone currently studying or a recent graduate of event management, who wants to dip their toes in the production and running of large-scale site-specific events.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Partially based in the site office; managing keys, radios, inductions register, deliveries and sign in/out processes
- Assisting with the induction/accreditation process for all visitors/staff members and crew on site
- Creating and posting operational signage
- Monitoring levels of consumables
- Delivering parcels to Heads of Departments on site
- Ad-hoc runs
- Supporting the Community Manager by assisting with site visits and community events

**Key Skills & Experience**:

- Maintaining a calm and authoritative manner during moments of high pressure
- Ability to look at situations holistically
- Excellent organisational skills and communications skills
- Experience juggling multiple tasks with differing priorities
- Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- UK Driver’s License, preferably with own car
- Must be local to Birmingham

**Desired**:

- Prior event experience
- Health & Safety Trained, experience in a similar role
