Early Years Teaching Assistant

Do you have experience working in Early Years as a Teaching Assistant? This is a great opportunity to work in a vibrant, welcoming and hard-working staff team, and help to provide a great leaning environment for children in Nursery and Reception.

The school has been graded 'good' by Ofsted. The position will involve working with children to support their academic and emotional development, spending time on focussed tasks with individuals and small groups. You will be working in a well-planned andstructured environment, within a strong, supportive team.

You will need to:

- Work on a 1:1 basis to deliver interventions
- Support groups of children with learning activities
- Assess children's development and feedback information to the class teacher
- Contribute to planning activities in conjunction with the class teacher
- Develop positive relationships with the children in order to manage behaviour
- Complete general class based and admin tasks in addition to supporting children directly
- Have a Child DBS on the update service (or be willing to process a new one at a cost of £50)
- Have a current Safeguarding qualification (this can be completed free of charge with Prospero if you do not have a current qualification)
