**Senior Lighting Artist**

**Hybrid Role (1 or 2 days office max) - Surrey/Berkshire area**

**Exciting role for someone who wants to step up into a Senior role or move into a role to further grow in a new AAA Racing Arcade game group.**

This is a super exciting project and could not be a more exciting time them as they embark on next-gen projects and looking to pushing the boundaries in UE4 & UE5.

Ideally our client is looking for you to have experience of working with a published console title with a wide knowledge of industry tools.

The right Senior Lighting Artist will be part of a gifted, dynamical studio whose key responsibility is to push for quality and efficiency wherever possible.

**The Role**
- Creating Quality AAA quality lighting for game experiences
- Improving lighting content for memory and performance together with retaining visual quality.

You will be required to work with technical art and engineering to deliver innovative techniques and collaborate with technical graphics & art engineers on shadows, anti-aliasing and materials/shaders etc

You will be required to work closely with the Art Director and Creative Director to create individual looks that supports gameplay.

Your Skills
- Quality portfolio representing your skills and achievements and have lighting experience in UE4.
- Able to show and produce real-time dynamic and baked lighting, grading and other post fx, and working knowledge of art creation workflow, asset exporting and data driven pipelines
- You will have experience in real time lighting and experience with managing and training a team of lighting artists.
- Have at least worked as a lead on at least 2 x AAA games or have worked on 2-4 x feature films.
- Have experience with industry standard art tools such as Maya, Photoshop or 3DS Max and will have photography knowledge with shooting light reference

Bonus
- Experience in designing HDR skyboxes
- Experience in material/shader work and scripting and working with blueprints in UE4
- Experience in colour grading/post-process effects

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
