**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Assist clinicians with administrative tasks on the ward/departmental areas, e.g. utilising IT systems or ensuring paper forms are completed and sent to relevant wards/departments in a timely manner in line with the ward/departments Key Performance Indicators
- To promote effective communication with patients and families.
- To answer telephone and / or face to face enquiries.
- To request, cancel and re-arrange appointments when necessary.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

**You'll learn the following whilst working at the Trust Obtain from Hiring Manager/the Trust -**
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You'll have the following qualification/experience**:

- Experience of working with filing systems
- Experience of good customer or patient care
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Experience of working within a related area e.g. Health/Social Care Setting
