An opportunity has arisen for a Demand Planner to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Job role:

- Generating a master demand schedule from across the projects and programmes and communicating this to all departments in a clear and visual manner.
- Champions the end to end process in the business from demand input through to production scheduling and delivery.
- Ensuring schedule is inputted and actively managed within ERP (D365).
- Leads Planning meetings with Programmes, production, purchasing.
- Integrates sales order with master schedule, support generation of work orders as required.
- Supporting procurement/material planning (from an ERP process perspective) with the scheduling and expediting of production material.
- Responsible for the planning and expediting of daily, weekly and monthly production schedules within production capacity and resource constraints.
- Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments
- Liaison with internal departments to ensure efficient and timely introduction of new products / projects
- Ensure data accuracy within the ERP / MRP system.

You’ll have:

- A strong working knowledge of ERP - Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferable
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills including Advanced user skills of Excel and Power BI
- Confidence liaising with senior management and key stakeholders in making recommendations and influencing
- Experience of Demand scheduling within a production environment
- Proficient with production planning systems and relationship to adjacent systems
- Experience of Material planning of supplier components to achieve inbound and outbound MRDs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Developing continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the department
