Forklift Operator

**The Opportunity**

Permanent full-time role working within our production team with a wide range of plant equipment to be trained on (if required), counterbalance licence is essential.

**What we are looking for**
- A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to work
- Experienced in operating a range of plant equipment including counter balanced, combi and side loaders
- Have a strong Health & Safety awareness
- Be physically fit and be able to carry out manual tasks including lifting and carrying
- Understand the importance of team-work and be able to communicate via radio.

**The Role**:
You will predominantly work outdoors in the main yard within the premises of our purpose-built modern fast paced, engineering facility, where you will operate a forklift truck vehicle to assist with production and transport needs.

**Duties include but not limited to**:

- Conducting daily forklift truck checks and reporting any faults to your line manager.
- Loading and unloading of company and third party vehicles.
- Delivering relevant components to key areas of production.
- Co-ordinate the safe movement of finished products.

**Hours of work**

Standard hours = 42.5 hours per week.

Overtime, maybe required including some Saturday mornings.

**Salary**: £10.50-£11.50 per hour
